We have wild verbena growing here. This is the first year I have ’seen’ them. They are so beautiful and structural yet airy and catch the light.
I don’t have to plant a seed or give them any for special care. They are wild and know how to survive.
I want to grow alongside the wildflowers. They can teach us so much. They flower without needing acknowledgment, praise or admiration. They set roots and thrive in places where others may struggle. They stand tall. They release freely and invite the breeze to carry their seeds for the future.
