About
I am Rachel Falla.
I’m a Barrington Coast flower farmer and wedding florist.
Working from the ground up, we mindfully sow, nurture and harvest flowers to complement the seasons. We take our freshly cut flowers and transform them into wildly beautiful designs for your wedding. Anything from bouquets, boutonnieres, and centre-pieces to ceremony arrangements.
Our arrangements are a seasonal snapshot of the natural world in a hand tied bundle.
Where our flower story began…
We began growing flowers 7 years ago when my husband and I bought (on a whim!) a little orange farm.
It turns out that whim was exactly the tree-change we needed. And three kids, three dogs, a swag of farm animals and a thriving (ever evolving) garden later, we have never looked back.
Over time, my interest and passion for farming and sustainable practices grew, and so did my garden! I decided I wanted to share the abundance of flowers I had grown, and so I became a florist.
How my flowers are unique…
Perched atop a hill on the Nowendoc River, all of our flowers are grown outdoors and as such we grow flowers true to their season,
Why seasonal flowers are so special…
We believe that locally sourced, in-season flowers have the power to evoke a feeling and incite a memory, long after an event. Their ephemeral beauty captures a sense of place and time like no other flower I know.
